COVID-19 Response

Due to the COVID-19 virus, Haven Academy of the Art's classes and productions will consist of a hybrid between virtual and in-person instruction, dependent upon current and fluctuating government mandates. For details on how Haven plans to safety host in-person instruction and rehearsals, please view the document below to read our new liability releases and protocol contract

Haven Academy of the Arts COVID Policies and Protocols

What Does Haven Look Like This Spring?
After a fall and winter of hybrid programming, we are thrilled to continue our steady progress towards re-opening! While this past season of intensive online training has been hugely rewarding, we are more than excited to welcome our students back to a Haven mainstage production. We're thrilled to share that we'll be able to do just that, with two fantastic programs!
This Spring, Haven has secured the streaming and digital rights for two productions, Little Mermaid Jr. and Little Women. This means that no matter what happens in the outside world, the show WILL GO ON! There have been a lot of changes in the theatre arts world as everyone adjusts and builds creative solutions for companies and performers. With options like live streaming, streaming a previously recorded production, editing individual cuts together, or even home video, our students are guaranteed a chance to perform, in some way, an actual show.
Instruction will be in-person, outdoors, masked, socially distanced, and in small rehearsal cohorts of no more than 14. As keeping our students safe while they rehearse is our top priority, we will also maintain options to go temporarily virtual due to weather, changing regulations, or positive tests/exposure within a cohort. While we are still limited in some ways by government mandates, we simply can’t wait to be with our students, rehearsing for a SHOW!
