Rebekah Hellerman has been directing youth theatre productions for ten years. Favorite directing projects include Beauty and the Beast, Oliver!, and The Sound of Music. She received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a teaching credential from Biola University. After founding and building a successful theatre program at OCF Church, Rebekah established Haven Academy of the Arts. Under OCF Youth
Theatre she organized and directed four successful Summer Theatre Camps, produced well-known family musicals, and facilitated outreach programs in inner-city Los Angeles. During Haven’s first year, she taught 2nd grade at Hermosa Valley and 3rd/4th grade at First Lutheran Venice. Rebekah believes strongly in applying educational theory and child development to directing children. She is consistently blessed by the amazing opportunities God has given her to work with these talented young people.

Scott Lambert lives in El Segundo with his wife of 22 years, Kim, and three teenage children that are veterans and fans of Haven Academy. Scott is Network Director of Kairos Church Planting, a five-year old non-profit that starts new churches across America. He also serves as Associate Minister at the Hilltop Community Church of Christ in El Segundo. The Lamberts moved to the South Bay in 2005 from Pepperdine University in Malibu where Scott directed Campus Ministry for the University Church of Christ on the Pepperdine Campus for 18 years. Scott and Kim are both undergraduates of Pepperdine, along with master’s degrees in ministry. Scott has also taught communication and religion courses at Pepperdine. He loves the arts and has had a life-long infatuation with drama, including numerous stage moments in his life. The highlight in his personal acting career may have been in the 2010 Haven Academy production of The Music Man, enjoying the role of townsman in the quartet. Scott wants to encourage modern-day storytelling as part of the ancient art of influencing people for good or evil. The arts and ministry are intertwined, which is why Scott is excited about serving the Haven Academy vision. His three children have grown tremendously in life and ability because of their Haven Academy experiences. Scott is honored to help increase Haven Academy’s impact by serving on the Board of Directors.

Bob Francis recently retired from the Boeing Company after 46 years where he gained much experience in engineering, program management, and business management. He also taught management courses at Boeing and is currently an adjunct professor in the
Crowell School of Business at Biola University. He currently teaches Introduction to Marketing and has taught classes in Marketing Management, Advertising and Promotion, Business for Non-Business Majors and various internship classes. He also has a photography business. Bob got “hooked” on musicals about ten years ago and is
excited to be on the Board of Haven Academy, putting his experience to use for Haven Academy.

Kristin is a professional Actress/Singer/Dancer. She grew up in Los Angeles, trained in Musical Theatre at AMDA in NYC and has done Musical Theatre all over the world. She has performed the role of Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" in Europe and Asia, sung on Crystal Cruises, starred in dozens of Musicals all over the State of California. She was just awarded "Breakthru Musical Theatre Performer of the Year" and won 3 Best Actress Awards for 2011 by StageSceneLA. Andra Taylor Andra Taylor is the mother of three children, all of whom are active with Haven in varying degrees. She is also a Sunday school teacher, home economics teacher, and aerospace engineer. She has been a vocal advocate for Haven in her work with the PTAs in the Wiseburn school district, seeking to enrich the children's access to arts education wherever possible, and is looking forward to continue that advocacy in her role as a board member.
